Netflix has released the trailer for its children’s musical Arlo, the crocodile boy. This latest sumptuously animated 2D adventure comes from first-time feature film director Ryan Crego, who launched his career in the art and animation departments in family movies like Shrek Forever After Y Shrek-cleave The cat with boots. Michael J. Woodard, known for his Top 5 in season 16 of american idol, will give voice to the young titular reptile.

After learning that the father he never knew lives in New York City, Arlo leaves his swamp behind to head to the Big Apple and encounters a host of quirky characters along the way. Scheduled for a release on April 16, Arlo, the crocodile boy It will mark another addition to Netflix’s impressive and growing library of children’s content. But Arlo won’t stop there. His film debut will be followed by I Heart Arlo, a 20-episode streaming series created by Crego that will debut sometime in 2021.
