Zack Snyder releases a new poster for his next Army of the dead titled prequel Army of thieves featuring fan favorite Dieter the Safecracker. Army of the dead came out in May 2021. The zombie heist was aware of its over the top nature, which lent itself to the film’s comedy, but also mixed social commentary with action and gore. While there were many iconic characters from actors like Dave Bautista and Tig Notaro, viewers latched onto the nervous and quirky German safe-thief Ludwig Dieter, played by Matthias Schweighöfer.
Snyder recently revealed a promotional poster for Army of thieves on his Twitter account. The poster shows Dieter looking over his shoulder as he walks off into the distance. His shadow casts beside him as he walks towards a formation that looks like a hypnotic security lock. The orange and white background stands out along with the quote “nothing is a safe bet” written in one of the white circles.
Snyder’s tweet not only revealed a new poster, but also reminded fans that Army of thieves will have a panel during Comic-Con @ Home. Army of the dead fans can tune in to the panel virtually on Sunday, July 25 at 2 PM PST. Nowadays Army of thieves It has a fall 2021 release date, but with the movie getting its own panel at Comic-Con @ Home, an exact release date is likely to be revealed tomorrow.
