Harry Potter’s Neville Actor Stole His Costume From Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, recently revealed how he managed to don his Deathly Hallows Part II costume.

Harry Potter‘s The Neville actor stole his Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows II costume. Matthew Lewis played Neville Longbottom, the boy who might have been the chosen one had it not been for Harry, during the eight Harry Potter Movie (s. Although Neville was not the main character, he went through a journey as heroic as Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson).

Say that Neville Longbottom started his story arc in Harry potter and the Philosopher’s Stone since the goofy, clumsy, goofy comic relief character is an understatement. However, Neville becomes increasingly complex as the story progresses. It was revealed that his parents were tortured to insanity by Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) and Neville was one of two children in a prophecy by Sybil Trelawney that predicted that Voldemort would choose the one capable of defeating him. Although Voldemort ultimately chose Harry, Neville continued to prove that he was a hero in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. Lewis recently revealed an important movie prop that he was able to get from the finale. Harry Potter movie. In an interview about Michael Rosenbaum Inside you podcast, Lewis said he was able to snag the Deathly Hallows costume. Read how Lewis accomplished that below.

“I have all my costume from the final movie. I won’t say who did it because they could find out. But someone came into my dressing room at the end of the day, on the last day, and I was like, ‘Do you want this?’ And I said, ‘Yeah.’ They said, ‘Put it in your bag right now and I’ll leave the room.’ And I said, ‘Okay.’ So I guess I stole it. “

It’s a shame Lewis can’t see the Harry Potter movies because Neville’s character reminds him too much of himself. After all, being compared to Neville in general should be considered a compliment. Like Lewis deserved his Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows II suit, Neville deserved the title of hero and a true Gryffindor.

After all, it was Neville who wielded Godric Gryffindor’s sword and beheaded Voldemort’s beloved serpent, Nagini. In the film, Nagini was the last of Voldemort’s Horcruxes, pieces of his soul that, though tied to a living being or an object, allowed Voldemort to remain invincible. When Neville beheaded Nagini, he cut off Voldemort’s last piece of immortality, reducing Voldemort back to mortal man Tom Riddle and allowing Harry to deliver the final blow.

There is nothing better than a bow of the clumsy boy who grows up to be a brave man, and than just the bow that Neville has in the Harry Potter book and movie series. Lewis did a fantastic job playing Neville Longbottom, a character who has inspired so many fans around the world. Neville was a hero from the start, not because of his untapped bravery, but because he always wanted to do the right thing and protect his friends.
