Paramount officially delayed Mission: Impossible 7 Y Mission: Impossible 8, donation the new release dates for Tom Cruise’s action movies for 2022 and 2023. The Mission Impossible franchise has been revitalized over the past decade after Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocolit premiered in 2011. Cruise returned as Ethan Hunt for three films during the 2010s and is already determined to play the exceptional spy two more times in the 2020s.
Mission: Impossible 7 has been filming since last year under the direction of Christopher McQuarrie, who is returning for his third installment. Like all other films in production in 2020, Mission: Impossible 7 was hit with delays caused by COVID-19. The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters in July 2021, but Paramount was forced to delay until the end of this year due to filming restrictions in Europe. This also resulted in Mission: Impossible 8 delaying until the end of 2022. Although the sequel has managed to continue filming recently, it has now been delayed again.
Paramount has been delayed Mission: Impossible 7 until May 27, 2022. The film was scheduled to hit theaters on November 19, 2021. The latest delays in Mission: Impossible 7 Y Mission: Impossible 8 It will surely be disappointing news for fans of the franchise. It will be almost four years from Mission: Impossible – FalloutRelease for when the next installment arrives. This is a bit longer than the last wait between sequels, but thankfully the wait between the seventh and the eighth film is still only a year. Hereinafter, Mission: Impossible 7 is set to open against John Wick: Chapter 4But the Keanu Reeves sequel could now be moved to another date to avoid competition with Cruise’s action franchise.
These delays not only mean that it will take longer until we see the Mission Impossible aftermath, but this could also indicate that more information on the aftermath is not coming soon. No sequel has an official title and that would have changed in the near future, at least for Mission: Impossible 7 it did keep its 2021 release date. Unfortunately, this also indicates that the first trailer Mission: Impossible 7 will not arrive until the end of 2021, possibly associated with Top Gun: Mavericknew release date. If these upcoming movies are on par with the latest installments in the franchise, at least Mission: Impossible 7 Y Mission: Impossible 8 It should be worth the wait.
