Jamie Foxx Responds To No Way Home Trailer With “Spiders” Tease

Electro actor Jamie Foxx responds to the new No Way Home trailer by prompting more than one Spider-Man to appear in the MCU movie.

Jamie Foxx responds to recent release Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer with a provocation on social networks. Oscar-winning actor for Lightning starred in 2014 The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as Max Dillion, an Oscorp Industries electrical engineer who accidentally falls into a vat of genetically engineered electric eels, transforming him into the electrically charged adversary of Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man known as Electro. While that sequel didn’t have a good critical or commercial performance, Foxx will return to the role in the next three MCU school.

No way home recovers immediately after Far from homeMid-credits scene in which Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) secret identity as Spider-Man is revealed to the world by J. Jonah Jameson (JK Simmons) and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). To fix this mess, Peter enlists the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast some magic and make everyone forget, though the spell goes awry and opens up the multiverse, allowing supervillains from alternate realities to enter the MCU. In addition to Electro from Foxx, Doc Ock (Alfred Molina) and Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) will also appear.

Now that No way homeThe second trailer is available for all to see, many of its stars have been sharing their reactions on social media. Jamie foxxwas one of the most intriguing, sharing an image of a sky lit with lights, captioned “Turn them on“with the hashtag”#spiders. “Check out his post below:

While Foxx’s post may seem short and innocent, his choice to use the plural of “spiders“in the hashtag it could lead to the appearance of more than one Spider-Man in the film. At this point, it could be considered an open secret that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men will appear in No way home, although this has not been confirmed by Marvel. Instead, Kevin Feige has tried to temper expectations regarding these rumors.

Shifting the focus back to Foxx’s Electro, the trailer revealed a complete redesign of the character from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, who tried to modernize her look. For No way home, they opted for a more accurate design from the comics, including their signature star-shaped mask, suggesting that this Electro could be a variant of the one featured in the previous film. Weather Spider-Man: No Way Home There will be no shortage of villains, it remains to be seen whether or not they have more than one Spider-Man to hunt down.
