John David Washington has been cast in a new film from the director, Gareth Edwards, entitled True love. The British director recently led the Star Wars spinoff prequel movie, Rogue one. In addition, Edwards has directed the 2014 blockbuster blockbuster, Godzillaand the 2010 critically acclaimed British indie film, Monsters.
Reported by Term, John David Washington has signed on to star in Edwards’ next project, a science fiction film titled True love. The plot of the film is still unknown, but it is described as a science fiction story set in the near future. True love It will be financed and produced by New Regency, which also produced Washington’s most recent unreleased film, directed by David O. Russell.
This news comes from Washington’s appearance on both the Netflix original, Malcolm and Marieand Christopher Nolan’s latest mind-blowing thriller or action, Beginning, which were released in the last year. Washington is also known for his big breakout role in Spike Lee’s 2018 Oscar-winning film. movie, BlacKkKlansman. His upcoming films include the Netflix thriller, Beckettby Ferdinando Cito Filomarino, who also stars in Alicia Vikander, and the aforementioned untitled David O. Russell film with New Regency. Not much is known about Russell’s film, but it does have a long list of high-profile actors, including Anya Taylor-Joy, Margot Robbie, Christian Bale, Robert De Niro, Rami Malek, Mike Myers, and Zoe Saldana.
