Previous american idol Winner Jordin Sparks will star in and executive produce a Hallmark Christmas movie titled A Christmas treasure, making its debut just in time for the 2021 holiday season. Hallmark’s holiday movies are a huge draw for viewers during the holiday season. For more than a decade, the channel has done its best to ensure a constant rotation of films that elicit warm and fuzzy feelings in its viewers, following a predictable pattern in which whatever conflict the characters encounter works out in the end.
Sparks will co-star in the film with Hallmark alumnus Michael Xavier, who has appeared in two films for the channel, including Christmas comes twice Y The expansion, reported Term. Sparks began his film career in 2012 on film. Shine with the late Whitney Houston. He has also appeared on the television series. CSI, Zoe forever, The real O’Neals, and the television movies Not related Y Dear Secret Santa.
In the movie, Sparks plays Lou, a woman who opens a 100-year-old time capsule and finds her grandfather’s old diary. This leads her to wonder whether she should move to New York after the Christmas season to try and make it as a writer or stay in her small town of Pine Grove to keep her family’s local newspaper running. He finds a soul mate in Kyle, who plays Xavier, a chef who is a visitor from a small town and who is also experiencing a personal crossroads. The couple connect, fueled by the magic of the season. Each will help propel the other on their journeys.
The film will debut during the Contrast The channel’s Countdown to Christmas programming event. This Christmas-themed block of special offers runs from the last weekend of October through January 1. It features a mix of Christmas movies, specials, and original Christmas-themed programming. It has not yet been determined when A Christmas treasure will make its Hallmark debut.
