Nakia’s actress Lupita Nyong’o celebrates the Black Panther 2 title announcement by inhaling helium and hilariously shouting “Wakanda forever!”

The Kenyan-Mexican actress joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2018 Black Panther as Nakia, T’Challa’s love interest in the movie. Nakia is expected to return for the sequel, along with T’Challa’s younger sister Shuri, whom some have speculated that the Black Panther mantle could eventually pass, as did Marvel’s transition from Steve Rogers to Sam Wilson as Captain America. On the other hand, Michael B. Jordan is not expected to return after Killmonger’s death at the end of the first film and Daniel Kaluuya also cast doubt on his return as W’Kabi.

Earlier this week it was announced that the highly anticipated sequel to Black Panther will be subtitled Wakanda forever and will be released in July 2022. Now, Lupita Nyong’o has reacted to the news. In a 10-second video posted on her Twitter, the actress hilariously yells: “Wakanda forever!”After inhaling helium. Nyong’o is notably holding back laughter throughout the video, before cracking up at the end. Check it out below:

Since the launch of Black Panther In 2018, Wakanda has become more than just a fictional place, and the phrase has now become popular as a chant that salutes the excellence and pride of blacks around the world.

Aside from the return of Ryan Coogler as writer and director of the sequel that will honor Boseman’s death, very little is known about the project. Title, Wakanda forever, indicates that Black panther 2 it will focus on previously unexplored aspects of Wakanda itself, such as its people, subcultures and traditions.
