Benedict Cumberbatch speaks in the speech of the “most ambitious superhero movie” and says that next year Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Insanity is more ambitious than the next Spider-Man: No Way Home. Both are among the most anticipated films on Marvel Studios’ endless list of upcoming projects. Despite the friendly competition, the two films will presumably build on each other given the important role of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) mentor in No way home.
Since the launch of Avengers: infinity warSuperhero movie fans have debated which movies feature the most ambitious crossovers. Avengers Endgame It has arguably been given this title after wrapping up over a decade of stories and sending out several of the most iconic superheroes of all time. Rumors that earlier versions of Spider-Man will appear in No way home they have further fanned the flames of speculation. However, it appears that Cumberbatch is defying the fandom’s collective anticipation for the next big MCU movie.
During a recent interview on Variety Awards Circuit Podcast, the Doctor Strange actor mocked his Spiderman co-star, Tom Holland. In response to Holland’s earlier comments that No way home “It is the most ambitious independent superhero film ever made”, Cumberbatch added, “Until ‘Doctor Strange 2’ comes out”. Given the title, fans have offered up their best theories on what kinds of multiversal shenanigans can crop up in the movie. the Strange doctor The MCU branch has always boasted the most abstract visual storytelling styles compared to the rest of the franchise, giving the rumor mill plenty of room to craft the wildest theories. Elizabeth Olsen’s involvement with the film has also made fans wonder what the fallout from the Disney + series is like. WandaVision factor in the movie.
Regardless of which movie ultimately claims the title of “more ambitious”, fans are almost guaranteed to have fun with both. Spiderman Fans rejoiced at the return of Doc Ock and Green Goblin at the No way home trailer; if Cumberbatch’s comments are to be believed, Multiverse of Madness may have even more awesome surprises in store.
