The New Zealand multi-screenwriter first attracted attention as a screenwriter and director of the Oscar-nominated short film. Two cars, one night. Since then, Waititi has written, directed and starred in multiple successful features including Jojo Rabbit and Thor: Ragnarok. Waititi returns to write and direct the long-awaited sequel to this latest film, Thor: love and thunder, which will be released in 2o22.
A new video teaser for Save ralph Posted on Instagram by the screenwriter and director of the film Spencer susser features Waititi as the titular talking rabbit. Produced in association with Humane Society International, the stop-motion short film is part of the #SaveRalph campaign, a movement to ban cosmetic animal testing. In the clip, the lab rabbit Ralph complains of blindness in his right eye and a ringing in one of his ears as a result of his abuse. After the trailer went online, Waititi added a poster for the short to his own Instagram account. Check out the teaser and poster below!
Save ralph also stars Ricky Gervais, Zac Efron, and Olivia Munn. Cruelty Free International estimates that hundreds of thousands of animals are used annually to test cosmetics only. This is a Waititi crisis and Save ralph It is expected to raise awareness about the short’s release on April 6. Based on the video and poster, the movie should make many consider the serious ramifications of animal testing for many years.
