Photos from DC’s The Flash movie reveal that Batman’s (Michael Keaton) home, Wayne Manor, will return in Ezra Miller’s upcoming solo film.

Ezra Miller’s portrayal of Scarlet Speedster began with a cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, and the plan was for his solo movie to hit theaters just two years later. After several creative changes and delays, The flash It is now in production under the direction of Andy Muschietti. As long expected, the solo film will deal with the multiverse and be a flexible adaptation of Flash point.
The multiverse gives The flash lots of opportunities to get creative with who can appear in the film alongside Barry Allen. It was previously announced that this will include Ben Affleck’s Batman presence and Michael Keaton’s return as the 1989 version. There were some questions as to whether or not Keaton would actually appear, but it was recently confirmed that his iconic Batman will be seen. With the return of Keaton, fans have been hopeful that there will be many references to bat Man Y Batman Returns and what happened to Bruce next.
In the first batch of photos from the set for The flash, a return trip to Wayne Manor has been revealed. The images of The Lincolnita show Warner Bros. trucks and set up building at Burghley House in Lincolnshire, England. Miller and Keaton have yet to see each other on set, but that could happen later.
Batman’s Return to Wayne Manor in The flash it was expected to some extent. It is unknown if Miller or Keaton will actually film scenes here or if the crew is only there to capture shots and exteriors. Now that some stage sets are being done, it may not be long before filming takes place here. And now that The flash has been linked to the production location, local media and paparazzi may be keeping an eye on the location in anticipation of the appearance of Miller, Keaton and other cast members.
Wayne Manor likely will not serve as a major location in The flash, but it’s nice to know that the movie will explore this part of Batman’s life. A visit to Bruce Wayne’s house, and possibly the Batcave below, could allow the movie to include a lot of Easter eggs. Many fans want to know what Michael Keaton’s Batman did next Batman Returns. Wayne Manor could feature jokes from other villains Batman fought or updates on Bruce’s personal life, such as getting married or having a partner. Those details will likely only be discovered once The flash hits theaters in 2022, but it’s fun to speculate on the possibilities until then.
