Vin Diesel shares his support for movie theaters in a new video with AMC Theaters, where he makes a case for audiences to see F9 on the big screen.
Vin Diesel and Fast and furious 9 show their support for theaters in a new exclusive trailer from AMC. Diesel will return once again as Dominic Toretto for Fast and furious 9, the latest installment in the high-octane car franchise. Appropriately titled F9, this film will find Dom’s perfect domestic life disturbed by the appearance of his long-lost brother Jakob (John Cena), a mercenary with less than noble intentions behind reuniting with his family. Among all the usual poignant action scenes, Fast and furious 9 It will also see the long-awaited return of Han (Sung Kang) for the first time since his apparent death in Fast and Furious 6.
Fast and furious 9 It is highly anticipated among fans, but has unfortunately been a long time coming due to the coronavirus pandemic. Instead of debuting in 2020 as planned, Universal brought the Justin Lin-directed film into this year. At the moment, Fast and furious 9 is scheduled to premiere on June 25 in the hopes that movie attendance will return to relatively normal. While several blockbuster movies have made the decision to go for dual-stream / theatrical releases, Fast and furious 9 it is one of the notable exceptions to remain fully dedicated to being available only in theaters.
That commitment to the theatrical experience is fully displayed in a new Fast and furious 9 video of AMC Theaters. The clip, which is part of a trailer, part of a part-movie PSA, features Diesel talking about the special feeling that comes from watching a movie in a theater. “There is nothing like that moment when the lights go out, the projector turns on and we believe“Says Diesel. The trailer highlights several action sequences from Fast and furious 9, as if to emphasize how much the public will want to see on a big screen. You can watch the trailer below.
Cinemas have been very successful in the past year due to the pandemic. For example, AMC has been on the brink of bankruptcy and ArcLight theaters in California will close for good. Exhibitors have been searching for major films to help get audiences back on their doorsteps, and thankfully, there have been some signs of improvement in recent weeks. A couple of Warner Bros. movies Godzilla vs. Kong Y Mortal Kombat They’ve helped put some of the pandemic’s best numbers at the box office, and the hope is that increased vaccine rollouts will only continue to help theaters recover. In another positive sign, this video also hints at the improvement in relations between Universal and AMC after their public spat over shortening launch windows last summer.
Fast and furious 9 it’s definitely the kind of movie that looks best on a big screen with its out-of-this-world stunts. Literally, this time, like Fast and Furious 9 It seems that it is finally heading to space. Cena has previously said that this movie is a reason for fans to hit theaters, and the video above takes that case even further. June is still over a month away, so it’s hard to say what the state of the movies will be like at that time. However, if things continue their upward pace, Diesel’s hope for a big return to theaters might not be so out of the question.
